On July 20, an auction will be held for a three-bedroom property at Seascape in Sentosa Cove, with a pre-sale estimate of $4.7 million. Mok Sze Sze, managing partner for auctions at Singapore Realtors Inc (SRI), confirms that this transaction is being conducted on behalf of the owner.
With a total size of 2,336 square feet, the ground-level flat has an asking price of $2,012 per square foot (psf). The apartment has a private elevator entrance and stunning views of the ocean. The owner would want to sell the property with the present tenant in place until September 2024.
The 151 apartments of Seascape can be found in two eight-story residential buildings, and they range in size from 2,164 square feet to 4,069 square feet. In addition, there are two five-bedroom villas, each covering 9,665 square feet, and 18 four-bedroom penthouses ranging in size from 3,380 square feet to 4,252 square feet.
On April 28, a duplex penthouse at Seascape sold for $5.5 million ($1,627 psf). The apartment has a total area of 3,380 square feet. The seller bought the condo from the developer in November 2011 for $9.6 million, notwithstanding the caveats that had been filed. That’s a loss of $4.1 million on the deal.
Daniel Poh of DpFraternity explains that the resort-like atmosphere and unobstructed sea views of Seascape make the apartments there desirable for individuals looking for a permanent vacation.
