A two-story standalone house at 4 Woollerton Drive near The Continuum and Continuum Floor Plan, The Continuum Balance Unit Chart is for sale by tender with an estimated price of $30.33 million. Based on the land size of the property, which is about 7,991 square feet, this comes out to about $3,796 per square foot.
The two-story separate house is in the Good Class Bungalow (GCB) area of Gallop Road and Woollerton Park. It is on a piece of land that is 24m wide and 30m deep. A selling worker for Huttons says that because the plot is on a hill, the house can see the lush grass around it. The house has an attic and a basement, for a total gross floor area of 11,000 sq ft.
The owner of 4 Woollerton Drive bought the land for $12.44 million ($1,571 psf) in August 2012. They decided to tear down the old building and replace it with a two-story house, which was finished in 2015.
Hutton says that the new house cost “more than $6 million” to build and is big enough for several generations to live peacefully. It has big living and eating rooms, seven bedrooms with their own bathrooms, entertainment, and family rooms, a wine cellar, and a big car porch in the basement.
Suzie Mok, who is in charge of selling the home for Huttons, says that the buyer won’t have to do much work to it before moving in. She thinks there will be a lot of interest in the house because homes in the Woollerton GCB area don’t come up for sale very often. “These properties are getting more and more attention from high-net-worth people,” she says. “This is true for both newly naturalized citizens and Singaporeans who want to own and pass down an asset that will last for generations.”
The bid for 4 Woollerton Drive will end at 3 p.m. on August 18.
